Our Story

Faris immigrated to New Zealand from Iraq as a young teenager along with his parents and siblings in the early 2000s. He settled in Auckland where he completed his high school education, as well as obtaining a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Auckland.

Being the son of immigrants, Faris witnessed the struggles his parents went through to have their dream of living in New Zealand come true. At a time where the access to information online was difficult, it took his parents a few attempts to finally be able to call New Zealand home. Faris appreciated the difficulties in getting things right from the start, especially for people who did not speak English as a first language, where information can be easily lost in translation.

Faris found the process of assisting his wife emigrate and settle in New Zealand very rewarding. Given his strong administration skills and attention to detail, Faris decided he wants to help others realise their dream to come to New Zealand while having to navigate the immigration system.
